Silk Street Jazz recently had the distinct pleasure of playing at the fantastic Blenheim Palace Food Festival – what a way to spend a Bank Holiday!
As a jazz band for hire in the UK we perform at a lot of weddings and corporate events around the country, but it was great to be out and about in that festival atmosphere for the first time this year and we look forward to performing at a few more over the Summer.
With over 100 suppliers, guests at the Food Festival weren’t short of things to do (or things to eat). We especially enjoyed frequenting the Piper’s Crisps stand, as did this chap!
It was also great to mingle with some of the 20k+ visitors over the weekend as they watched demos from Great British Bake off contestants, brave Upton Cheney Chillis and wash it all down with a great selection of delicious craft brews and frozen cocktails.
After all that food and drink we were over the moon that out tunes still got people on their feet and it was great to add to the happy family-friendly atmosphere.
