The Party Season Has Started at Silk Street Jazz

As we approach Autumn there is a plentiful supply of occasions coming up that warrant a party with a theme. At Silk Street Jazz, we’ve been lucky enough to play them all over the years!

Here’s why this Autumn is our favourite party planning season:

Halloween – 31st October

The time of year when acting weird and being moody is actually allowed! We’ve played some great fancy dress parties in the past and we’re sure this year will be no different.

Silk Street Jazz Party Season

Bonfire Night – 5th November

There’s fireworks, sparklers and hot drinks aplenty – what’s not to love. There are many excellent guides out there offering top tips on how to throw an excellent Firework Night party, but may we humbly suggest that a jazz band performing outdoors can really add a touch of class to proceedings.

Christmas time

Providing Christmas party entertainment is truly our pleasure, and Christmas bookings are among our favourite for obvious reasons. The festive season brings parties aplenty and people are always more than willing to slosh their mulled wine around the dance floor to some excellent, Dixie music.

New Years Eve

Seeing in the new year is the perfect excuse for a knees-up and there is no better way to celebrate than with a lively jazz band at your New Year’s Eve party. We’ll bring you more on NYE parties next month.

Remember, you don’t always need an excuse to throw a party! Our band is scalable from a two-piece all the way up to a seven piece complete with dancing Flapper Girls!

If you’re thinking of booking a jazz band for your wedding or next event then drop us a line – we don’t bite!
